Banquet of the Worshipful Company of Glovers of London

Historical Association notes:

Alan Fishman was the retiring Master Glover of the Worshipful Company of Glovers of London in 1996 and gifted a pair of these gloves to guests at the Banquet on 8 October 1996 at the end of his year of office. Alan Fishman spoke of his choice (in 2018): "It was a time to think of the men rather than (or as well as) the ladies and to provide gloves that all attendees could use. The application form did not ask for glove sizes. Just to be clear, gardening gloves were provided for everyone who was present".
