Description

A women’s pair of heavy knitted cotton beaded fingerless mittens. The strong red ground has been jacquard knitted on a flat frame machine probably in the Midlands. They feature gold, transparent, white and black small glass beads, which would have been applied by hand. The beading extends to both back and front of the mittens. They would be worn for evening attire. Length 29cm.
