Description

Queen Victoria’s Coronation glove, replica of the original worn during the Coronation ceremony at Westminster Abbey on 28 June 1838; single womenswear glove in white kid leather, with embroidered badge bearing the moto ‘Honi Soit Qui Maly Y Pense’ worked in red and blue silks, gauntlet of gold metal thread bobbin lace threaded with sequins, side tassle and edged with a band of deep purple silk satin.
