Description

Queen Alexandra’s Coronation glove, replica or duplicate of the original worn during the Coronation ceremony of King Edward VII at Westminster Abbey on 9 August 1902; single womenswear glove in white kid leather, with embroidered design of delicate scrolling flowerheads and foliage and badge bearing the AR cypher and crown worked in red silks and gold metal threads, fastens with three mother of pearl buttons at lower wrist.
